Robust Clip for your Defender 2024

Robust Clip for your Defender

One of my customers developed the first Kydex holsters for the Defenders a while back. However, due to my customer’s circumstances, that option wasn’t available anymore after a few years. After several more years, Dr. Q invented a very unique holster. Shortly after, I asked him to look into some clips or hooks that we can use on all Defenders.

We started with a smaller clip, and it was good, but the company came out with a better “Robust” clip, so we switched to that.

What is nice about this clip is that it can be set up for right or left-handed people. They attach by me drilling a small hole above the lanyard attachment holes and inserting a barrel-shaped screw receiver.

I attach the clip with a Phillips head screw that can be removed, and you can transfer the Robust clip to the other side for left-handed individuals. Well, we send them out set up for right-handed customers, but if the customer wants to change it over to the other side of the defender, it’s easy.

The clip can be slid onto many places for easy carry, such as your belt, the waistband of your pants, web gear, or even the collar of your shirt! This versatility allows Defenders to blend in with various styles.

If you purchase multiple Defenders, for example, four, but you order only one clip, please email us to tell us which Defender you want the clip attached to. If you decide to add a clip to a Defender after purchase, we can send you the clip and hardware for you to install on your Defender.

Feature List

– Strong and very robust clip

– Firm hold on wherever you attach it

– Easy to change the clip from one side to the other by removing the screw, flipping over the Defender, and replacing the screw on the new side.

– Weight 0.5 ounces

As with any critical safety equipment, make sure the Robust clip screw is tight to the Defender. Also, check to ensure the spring of the clip is still working well and shows no sign of stress fractures. We have never seen any of these issues, but it is good to inspect your gear for proper working order.
