This is David Stack, a gentleman who is intent on keeping women safe.I graduated from the University of North Texas (UNT) with a Bachelor of Science in “Emergency Administration & Planning” (16 Dec 16)! I have also completed the OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training for General Industry (3 Jan 17)!
I have been trained for over one year in Krav Maga (Hebrew: קְרַב מַגָּע, literally “contact combat”). It is a reality-based, practical, no-nonsense self defense system used to train the Israeli Defense Forces, and several other military and law enforcement agencies around the world. “It’s a self-defense system anyone can use regardless of size, strength or fitness level,” said Skee. “It’s not a ‘clean’ fighting style. It’s dirty, rough and aggressive yet controlled, making it the ideal self-defense system for use on the street – a place where no rules exist.” ~ 1st Lt. Benjamin Skee, 2nd Range Operations Squadron control officer, USAF
I graduated with a 4-Year Degree in Emergency Management (Dec 2016) and completed the OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training for General Industry (Jan 2017).
I am a 2nd Lieutenant Senior Member in the United States Civil Air Patrol [volunteer organization which trains children (male and female) in integrity, volunteer service, excellence, and respect]. All senior members (including me) must have their fingerprints submitted to the FBI.
I have experience as a security officer at a hospital, escorting female nurses, patients, and visitors to their vehicles at night. I have helped suicidal-ideation patients and unruly patients remain calm. I am American Red American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric FirstAid / CPR / AED certified. As a gentleman, I must fight against evil and prevent sexual assault. I cannot live in apathy. I, like all men, must do all I can to save lives and protect women. “To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world.” ~ Brandi Snyder I have given defensive assets to several college women; including the “Small Fry” 8,000,000 volt stun gun, tactical flashlights, and more. I am doing this so I can help keep women safe at my college campus and everywhere I go.
Now I have the opportunity to equip them with a device more effective than any stun gun…the Defender. The stun gun has its limitations: linear, obvious attacks which could be blocked. The Defender allows quick-and-dirty feints and maneuvers, which are strikingly similar to Krav Maga. Enemies will suspect a stun gun, but not the covert lineup that Master Peter Brusso has invented. He is a hero dedicated to preserving life, and defending those who need protection most. I cannot stand around either and watch silently while my sisters are being hurt. I ask others to stand and fight by taking photos/video and calling 911 without fear or hesitation, speaking out to get everyone’s attention if they see a crime, and to take lawful, moral, physical force when necessary. “We’ve been fighting a long time and we’ve all lost so very much. So many loved ones gone. You’re not alone. There are pockets of resistance all around the planet. We are at the brink.[…]You have no idea how important you are. This is John Connor. If you’re listening to this, you are the resistance.”~ John Connor (Terminator Salvation, 2009) I ask everyone, especially men, to become a shield for women. Gentlemen, we are the resistance in a battle of good versus evil. Feel like you have purpose again. Neither men nor women are collectively guilty of any crimes. Let us stand together to fight this horrendous evil torture which is plaguing and killing our mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, and friends. Together we can save lives and prevent this. Together we can make a difference. You are my brothers and there is good in you…and potential to be great.
If this sounds weird or offensive, the “MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention)” is a multi-college campus program which teaches men and women to fight sexual violence. This program used to state “put the onus on men.” President Obama’s famous “It’s on Us” Initiative (Sep 2014) also fights sexual violence on a national level.
“If I was not created to keep women safe and teach others to do so, then I would not have been born male.”~ David Stack
